How does this work?
After you sign up to the ladder, you can challenge other players on the ladder to play a 1v1 sumo match. The matches are played for points, and the amount of points won/lost is determined by the ranking of the two players. Every player starts out with 100 points, to find out in which rank you are and for how many points you are playing someone, see below.
How to sign up?

Rules
- Games can be played on any server as long as the regular 1v1 sumo settings are used. 1v1 Games on a sumo server where more than two people can play, are allowed as long as only two people participated in the match.
- Smurfing is not tolerated.
- Trust is assumed! However, it is good to have screen shots in case of a dispute.
- Wins must be reported within 24 hours in the Game Results topic. If there are any disputes, they should also be posted within this same 24 hour period.
- Attempts to distort the spirit of this ladder (such as through being involved in multiple disputes about who won, smurfing, etc) can result in being removed from the ladder or otherwise penalized.
- As ladder moderator, I reserve the right to add, remove, or otherwise modify the rules if required to maintain the integrity of the ladder. All changes to the rules will be announced in this thread prior to coming into effect.
Tips & Etiquette
- Try not to play only on your own continent, to level the playingfield.
- Keep the Game Results topic clean, when reporting please do so in the following format: Player 1 wins against Player 2.
- If someone needs to leave to take a piss, go to the doctor or whatever, just finish the current match and postpone the remaining matches. Things like these happen, don't be an ass about this.
- The cop-out move is when someone purposely leaves the sumozone to give the other person 60 points instead of the possible 90 points. If you don't want this to happen, make sure you both agree about it.
Ranks & Scoring
Rank A: 200+.................Value of opponents: A: 6, B: 3, C: 3, D: 1, E: 1, F: 1.
Rank B: 165-199..............Value of opponents: A: 9, B: 6, C: 3, D:3, E: 1, F: 1.
Rank C: 111-164..............Value of opponents: A: 12, B: 9, C: 6, D: 3, E: 3, F: 1.
ZERO Gamers: 100..........Value of ALL opponents: Winner gets 2, loser loses 2.
Rank D: 90-110...............Value of opponents: A: 15, B: 12, C: 9, D: 6, E: 3, F: 3.
Rank E: 80-89.................Value of opponents: A: 18, B: 15, C: 12, D: 9, E: 6, F: 3.
Rank F: 79 & Under...........Value of opponents: A: 21, B: 18, C: 15, D: 12, E: 9, F: 6.
The winner of a game is awarded the points given in the 'Value of opponents' category that applies to their opponent's rank, while the loser loses that same amount of points.
Example:
Let's say Edward who is in Rank E plays Bob who is in Rank B. If Edward wins he will get 15 points, and Bob will lose 15. If Bob wins, he will win 1 point, and Edward loses 1 point. I made the numbers used for this example bold in the ranks & score list.
This ladder has been based on the AOKH Random Map Ladder.
