Well I don't want to keep away all the americans who have other things to do during weekdays. So it means I'm kinda forced to change the day.. Not that anyone seems too excited to play anyway

On the other hand I don't want to exclude the same people who are also excluded for the tst and ladles because they can't play on sunday. You know what, I'll make this thread into a poll to see how many people are against/pro playing sunday, and to see how many people like the second alternative: flexible times like 2020 suggested in the thread on the aaforums.

how about the current kings of the grid
offering the server and time for the coming week...
ready to take on any challengers...?
this might be a regular thing
but it can change when a new team ousts the old one...
could a more flexible approach like this work?
It could work, but what I invisioned with Kings of the Grid was a tournament where you didn't need to do much stuff, just get a bunch of people together and ask if they can play on xxxday, and play. With flexible times, you need to ask people if they would like to play with you, ask everyone when they could play, ask when the kings can play, inform your team etc etc. I'm just not sure how much work people are willing to put into what might become a one game experience.
edit:
How about a hybrid between the flexible/fixed ideas: It is forced upon the kings to accept every challenge on Sunday between 8-11 pm gmt, but if they want they can go the extra mile and get more gamewins (which is what counts, anyway) by accepting games outside of that small timeframe.
